About La Grotte

Now in its third year La Grotte has fast become one of the largest bar restaurants in Serre Chevalier. Situated below the Aravet Télécabine and next to the Mickey piste in Serre Chevalier 1400, we can be reached directly by skis or snowboards and by road or foot. Our knowledgeable staff are there to help you to have fun and can answer most questions about the resort or the slopes. La Grotte itself comprises of a large bar and separate non-smoking restaurant complete with log fire. After 10:00 pm, the cosy restaurant area becomes our quieter zone.

Come to us for that special touch including daily well priced "café" style food including the only 10€ three course lunch to be found in Serre Chevalier - the famous "Fat Boy".

Also a free après ski equipment crèche ensures your equipment stays yours along with our happy hour (actually two hours) involving low priced nourishing lager. During "après nibbles hour" we offer free roasties, sausages, cheese and more to help stave off the munchies. We also boast a full and well stocked bar including draught cider, Murphy's and our famous shooter bar.

At La Grotte we hold to many traditional "pub" values, pool, darts, table football, Sky TV and some more modern facilities such as a free WIFI connection. Also, with families in mind, we have a non-smoking restaurant including smaller portions for children.
In the evenings we provide a free cloakroom so even if you've had one too many, your jacket will always remain safe while you enjoy our well established live entertainment programme; always absolutely free admission.

Finally we have our loyalty card system. Every euro you spend gets recorded on your own personal card and Friday night is "Cashback"night for free food/drink etc. The more you spend the more you get back on Friday! So, ask at the bar or see your rep for details.
